Life has been busy so baking and blogging have been put on the back burner. I'll be back with some baked goodies soon but in the meantime I thought I would share some pictures of beautiful Vancouver, BC that I've shot in the last month. Enjoy!

p.s. if I may ask, what settings would you use to take a picture like the 3rd one? super slow exposure, open lense (f20-something?!) ISO100?? I'm such a rookie still but want to learn :)
ReplyDeletesorry, meant to write f2.0 for the aperture but read something about f8 being an good option? sorry for rambling on :)

omigosh i NEED to get up there! went to Victoria last summer, and it was great. i think this time it needs to be a Vancouver kind of summer. :)
ReplyDeleteamazing photos!
those are amazing!!!! pictures!!
ReplyDeleteOk, let me start off by saying I am in no way an experienced photographer. I'm learning, too :) But but for those of you who asked here are the settings I used for the third photo.
ReplyDeleteISO 800, Shutter 15", F 6.3, WB Sunshine (this is fun to play with... fluorescent gave great results, too).
(For the majority of my other pictures (not posted) my shutter was at 30" and aperture was at 11).
Have fun with this. You get to break all of the normal photography "rules" and purposely overexpose!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
xo
Your pictures have captured the Vancouver I know & love~ such a beautiful city, day & night.
ReplyDeletethank you for the info! I want to play around with all the settings :)
