You captured our city so beautifully!! Hey, I'm curious to know what kind camera you shoot with?
Thank you so much, everyone! I have a Canon Rebel XSi - it's great! xo
Ahh now that explains it!... I have a Canon Rebel t1i myself! Gotta love Canon!! & thanks for the comment on my wall~ you are so welcome!
you're from vancouver?! I have visited and LOVE the city!! My boyfriend has relatives there so he goes back every year for a month to 6 weeks! your pictures are amazing, I recently bought the canon rebel t2i and still have soo much to learn but your pictures are definitely a big inspiration!xox VickyBikinis & Passports
p.s. if I may ask, what settings would you use to take a picture like the 3rd one? super slow exposure, open lense (f20-something?!) ISO100?? I'm such a rookie still but want to learn :)
sorry, meant to write f2.0 for the aperture but read something about f8 being an good option? sorry for rambling on :)
i just love your blog every time i go on it i find thinks that i totally love. now following :)Anna Katrinahttp://passportglamour.blogspot.com/

omigosh i NEED to get up there! went to Victoria last summer, and it was great. i think this time it needs to be a Vancouver kind of summer. :)amazing photos!
those are amazing!!!! pictures!!
Ok, let me start off by saying I am in no way an experienced photographer. I'm learning, too :) But but for those of you who asked here are the settings I used for the third photo. ISO 800, Shutter 15", F 6.3, WB Sunshine (this is fun to play with... fluorescent gave great results, too).(For the majority of my other pictures (not posted) my shutter was at 30" and aperture was at 11).Have fun with this. You get to break all of the normal photography "rules" and purposely overexpose!Let me know if you have any other questions!xo
Your pictures have captured the Vancouver I know & love~ such a beautiful city, day & night.
thank you for the info! I want to play around with all the settings :)xox VickyBikinis & Passports
